The PIP Story

Pickleball Insurance Program is the second niche insurance program created by Rednil Insurance Brokers, a second generation family business. Their bowling center insurance program (WBPI) was founded in California by Larry Linder in 1989. Led today by his son, Cameron Linder, Rednil has team members nationwide serving 47 states. From America's oldest indoor sport to its newest!

For nearly 40 years, we’ve insured, coached, and fought for bowling proprietors. From an insurance perspective, we believe pickleball and bowling are nearly identical in that they involve large buildings, have sporting injury risk at its core, and typically involve food and alcohol. That’s one reason our experience in bowling is directly transferable to pickleball.
